It's finally happened!  The Thirteenth Judicial Circuit in and for Hillsborough County, Florida, has become just the fourth judicial circuit in Florida to have an administrative order approving and regulating collaborative divorce.

Attorney Adam B. Cordover was on the task force that drafted and presented a proposed administrative order on collaborative divorce.  In July, Tampa's head family law judge, Catherine M. Catlin, who lead the drafting task force, gave a presentation to the Collaborative Divorce Institute of Tampa Bay on the administrative order.  She pointed out how this administrative order promotes collaborative divorce as a private and confidential form of alternative dispute resolution.  She lead a round-table discussion which explored how the collaborative process could lead to creative and individually-tailored solutions to financial and parenting issues that would never result from ordinary courtroom litigation.

Adam B. Cordover has received advanced training in the collaborative process and is on the Executive Board of the Collaborative Divorce Institute of Tampa Bay.  If you have questions regarding collaborative divorce in Tampa Bay, schedule a consultation with Adam by calling (813) 443-0615 or by filling out our contact form.
